Overview
Your Profile is where Garder explains who you are on the platform, what is visible to others, what is private, and what actions are available to you. It is not just an account settings page โ it is the home for your platform identity.
From Profile, you can review identity verification, update personal and account details, check wallet readiness, monitor trust score, view Community+ reputation, apply for Verified Earner, download your data, and manage deactivation or deletion.
Profile Basics
The basic profile area keeps your account identity clear and up to date.

Identity & KYC
Identity verification helps protect the community and unlocks key platform actions. KYC status is a trust signal, but sensitive identity numbers are never shown publicly.
KYC status
Shows whether identity checks have been completed and whether the account is ready for higher-trust activity.
BVN / bank verification
Used for account safety, wallet readiness, and virtual account activation where required. It is not displayed publicly.
Email verification
Used for login security, OTP confirmation, account actions, and important platform notices.
Reverification
If the platform needs a fresh identity check, you may be asked to reverify before continuing sensitive actions.
Wallet & Virtual Account
Profile helps you understand whether your account is ready to receive support, add money, withdraw, and complete returns. Wallet balance itself is private and is not shown to other users.

Trust Score

Community+ Public Profile
When someone taps your name or avatar in Community+, they see a safe public profile summary. This gives supporters context without exposing sensitive information.
Visible
Trust score, score label, support plan history, previous support handled, repayment rate, community badge, KYC status, and member-since date.
Hidden
Wallet balance, phone number, email address, salary, employer details, BVN, NIN, and private identity records.
Verified Earner
Verified Earner is an optional profile-backed trust layer for members with reviewed income evidence. It can help eligible support requests stand out, but it does not expose salary or employer details to the public.
Apply from Profile
Submit employer and income evidence where requested.
Admin review
Garder reviews the application and assigns the appropriate verification outcome.
Badge appears conditionally
The badge appears only when the member is approved and the specific request passes platform checks.
Private details stay private
Salary, employer details, and documents are not shown in the public Community+ profile modal.
Download Your Data
You can download your account data from Profile. This is designed to make your platform record portable and transparent.

Deactivate Account
Deactivation is a reversible pause. Your account becomes dormant, your data stays preserved, and you can reactivate by logging in again.
Delete Account
Account deletion is permanent after the grace period. It is designed as a deliberate multi-step action so users do not accidentally delete a live account.

The platform may require OTP confirmation before continuing.
Grace window
You can cancel during the grace period if you change your mind.
Permanent deletion
After the grace period, account identity is removed or anonymized according to the platform retention rules.
Security & OTP
Sensitive profile and account lifecycle actions may require OTP verification. This protects your account from accidental or unauthorized changes.
Email OTP
Used for account confirmation, lifecycle actions, password reset, and sensitive updates.
Password reset
Use the reset flow if you lose access to your password.
Suspension screen
If an admin suspends the account, login is restricted until review or reinstatement.

Is my wallet balance visible to others?
No. Wallet balance is private and is never shown in the public Community+ profile modal.
Does Verified Earner reveal my salary?
No. The badge can appear publicly, but salary evidence, employer details, and documents remain private.
Why should I keep my income updated?
It helps affordability calculations and may support trust-related features such as Verified Earner review.
Can I leave Garder while I owe money?
Usually no. Active obligations should be resolved before deactivation or deletion can proceed.
Can I download my data before leaving?
Yes. Use the data export option from Profile before deactivation or deletion.
